Title I Schools
In compliance with federal law and Oregon Department of Education guidelines, the District shall ensure that parents are provided information, in an annual school-based meeting, regarding their school’s participation in the Title I program and its requirements. Parents of participating students shall be informed of their right to be involved in the development of their school’s Title I plan and school-parent compact. This policy shall be reviewed annually by the District’s Elementary and Secondary Education Act Committee and updated periodically to meet the changing needs of parents and schools.
The Superintendent shall develop administrative regulations to implement this policy and meet the requirements of the law.
ESCUELAS DE TÍTULO I
De conformidad con las leyes federales y el Departamento de Educación de Oregon, el Distrito deberá proveer información sobre el programa de Título I y sus requisitos a los padres en una reunión anual en la escuela. Los padres de los estudiantes participantes deberán ser informados de su derecho de participar en el desarrollo del plan de Título I y el acuerdo entre los padres y la escuela. Esta política será revisada anualmente por el Comité del Distrito de la Ley de Educación Primaria, Secundaria y Preparatoria (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) y actualizada periódicamente para satisfacer las necesidades cambiantes de los padres y las escuelas.
El superintendente desarrollará el reglamento administrativo para poner en práctica esta norma y cumplir con los requisitos de la ley.
